Fetching Joy

Welcome to ShiButa, a shop for cheerful gifts, stationery, and everyday kawaii finds curated from Japan, Asia, and beyond.

Our name brings together Shiba Inu and Buta, the Japanese word for pig. It celebrates our late family Shiba, Alexis—lovingly known as Lexi—and our family's connection to the Pig in the Chinese zodiac.

Lexi's playful spirit lives on as our shop mascot. She reminds us to look for joy in the little things: a delightful desk companion, a thoughtful gift, or an everyday find that makes you smile.

Whether you're choosing something for a friend or finding a new favorite for yourself, we're glad you're here. Thank you for being part of our story and helping us keep Lexi's joyful spirit close.
